Über mich

Tamara is a freelance singing-, music- and English teacher in Germany who works in music schools, in her own studio and via video conference. Her pedagogical motivation – to help others to grow as creative individuals – has led to an increasing demand for her work with both children and adults. Finding joy in learning, as well as in artistic growth can be essential tools in becoming a successful learner.

Her first love for music grew during her early childhood years in the midst of her dad’s collection of music albums. At the age of 6 she started playing the piano with Argentinian teacher Alexandra Lopez. She finished the ‚Gymnasium‘ (engl.: grammar school) with music and English as exam subjects and classical singing as her main musical instrument. In 2014 she finished her university studies (English and American language and literature, music theory, music pedagogics, singing, piano, ensemble conducting, pedagogics from childhood to adulthood) with a state exam degree for English and Music pegagogics for teenagers. At the age of 22 her university singing teacher encouraged her to start teaching first singing lessons – and so the journey began. In the meantime Tamara continued with further education in the field of vocal pedagogics to be able to serve the vocal technique needs of many students with various musical backgrounds and goals.

As life long learning is crucial for the quality of a teacher’s work, Tamara didn’t stop learning and studying after her university years, rather she continues to grow as a teacher and a musician.
